In 2013, Australian New York City resident Yael Stone was the inmate playing "Lorna" Morello in Orange Is the New Black. Yael holds a master's degree from NIDA. Since her early years, Yael has been lucky to be able to collaborate with some of Australia's top storytellers, stars of performance and visionaries behind the scenes in films, television and theatre. Yael is a hugely successful career in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael discovered her new location with the city of New York City when the production premiered to acclaim in BAM. Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM). Yael was co-founder of The Cannery. Working from a studio in Bushwick, Brooklyn, the company supports new writing and innovative, creative exploits.
